About Robyn Friesen, Notary Public

Robyn completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and graduated with honours in 2018. Following her degree, Robyn returned to SFU  to pursue the Master of Arts in Applied Legal Studies to become a Notary Public. In March 2020 Robyn took the notarial statutory exams and won the Bernard Hoeter and Stanley Nichol awards for achieving top marks on all of the notarial exams. Robyn received her Notary Public commission in May 2020. 

 

During her time at SFU, Robyn worked as a legal assistant/conveyancer for a Notary Public in the lower mainland and prepared Wills, Powers of Attorney and all forms of real estate files. 

 

Robyn made the move to Parksville from the lower mainland in 2021 with her partner Liam and dog Toby to run a Notary office for Robbins Notaries in Parksville. After 3.5 years of running the office, Robyn decided it was time to branch out on her own to focus primarily on personal planning and notarizations.

In her free time Robyn enjoys spending time with friends and family, and exploring the nature Parksville and the oceanside area have to offer.
